Wold Galleries are proud of their association with the UK Organisation 'Artists of Russia', together we have been exhibiting the work of Russian Artists since 1997. You will always find some Russian paintings in our gallery, please call in or email us if you are looking for the work of a specific artist.

Artists of Russia exists to promote the work of young Russian artists through exhibitions in Britain. The organisation, which was set up in 1994, has two main objectives:

To increase awareness in the UK of the work of Russian artists.

To generate income for the artists through selling their paintings.
Almost all the artists represented have been trained at the Academy of Fine Arts, St Petersburg. This is the most prestigious art school in Russia and has maintained the highest traditions of painting throughout its long history. Its students are carefully selected from all over Russia - even to have been accepted for entry denotes talent of the highest order.

The success of the exhibitions has also helped to fund visits to Britain by Russian artists and has supplied them with some special materials which are difficult to obtain in Russia.
