Born in 1959, Jon works with Contemporary landscapes and visions.

Always enjoying art even from a young age, he spent his spare time drawing the landscape of the surrounding countryside.

What you see is a maturing evolution of his art, an outpouring of all of his inner feelings.

His inspiration is both from the landscapes that he has seen and those created by his mind and the objects and music that populate this world and beyond.

To create the work before you, he has combined his image of the powerful music of the great composers and the environment with his own new language of colour and light. This is an individual expression of life, and of the positive interweaving and diversity of cultures that he is experiencing.

You may feel the energy of Mozart, Vivaldi, and Puccini, if you add into this the forms and Landscapes from the Far East, the Americas as well as the countryside much closer to home. You may see as Jon does an overall, simple but enduring beauty that the planet has to offer.
