Snejana Slavova was born in 1954 in the town of Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. In 1973 she graduated from the High School of Arts in Sofia having specialised in painting. She works in the fields of still life, landscape and portraiture and since 1978 has exhibited widely in general art exhibitions throughout Bulgaria. She has also taken part in exhibitions outside Bulgaria in countries including Poland, Yugoslavia, France and Italy. She also presented a solo exhibition in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 2003 she was invited to exhibit at the Bulgarian Embassy in London in celebration of the Bulgarian national day.

Snejana’s work is held by the National Gallery of Arts of Bulgaria and has been purchased by private collectors in Europe and the USA. She still lives and works in her home town of Veliko Tarnovo.
